You've had devastating news #316

In this way-too-short audio, I am talking about working with an old emotional shock.  Think of a time when you got news that was devastating, unexpected, and tied to something important to you. You can tap after these shocks, even years after, to address the impact it had on you.

In the audio, I lead a few rounds of tapping to get you going:

  • Tapping for the exact moment you got the news
  • The change in identity, realizing that the path you were on is no longer an option
  • Noticing the feelings that come up, grieving what was lost.

I deliberately framed this podcast for an old event. Here’s why.

When you are going through an emotionally challenging event, your perspective narrows and it’s harder to hold that compassionate space and wider perspective for yourself.  I highly recommend working with another person, a professional, to help you if you are in the middle of a change or situation.

This is one of the areas I excel at – intense emotional experiences and finding a way forward.  If you want to talk with me about working together, please be in touch. Working with me and tapping can help you move through the event with grace and ease, way more easily than you might expect.
