I recently introduced a fellow unschooling mom to human design — the experience was such a relief for her. I’m finding that more and more I’m introducing my clients to design. For parents, it makes such a difference knowing what types our children are and what types we are, where we are defined and where we are open to conditioning. We all have different ways of using our energy and knowing our strategy and authority is huge.
For example, did you know that:
- Some of us do are designed to answer to yes/no questions.
- Some of us aren’t meant to be asked.
- And others of us need time, space, and recognition to talk things out?
So imagine being a mom with children of each type. As unschooling moms, we already know how to adapt to each of our children but this gives us a much clearer model. And honestly, most of us moms aren’t using our strategy properly (how could we if we were never taught it?) Learning about my open centers has been huge for me —- (and one nice thing is that human design information comes from our birth data so it’s easy to get our type figured out, unlike the Enneagram.)
For folks interested in learning more about their human design and how it impacts their parenting, relationships, work and life in general, this page has more information. Enjoy!
